As a fan of the Keeper of the Lost Cities series, I strongly believe that the second book in this series is necessary for several reasons.
First and foremost, the first book ended on a major cliffhanger. Throughout “Keeper of the Lost Cities,” we were introduced to a fascinating world and a cast of diverse and lovable characters. However, just as we were getting invested in their lives, everything was turned upside down. Sophie’s identity was revealed, and she was forced to flee her home and leave behind everything she knew. This left readers with so many questions and an intense desire to know what happens next.
Secondly, the first book only scratched the surface of this intricate world. We were given glimpses into the Elvin society and their abilities, but there is still so much more to explore. The second book will allow us to dive deeper into this magical world and learn more about its history, politics, and culture.
Moreover, there are still many unresolved conflicts that need to be addressed in the second book. We have yet to discover the true motives of some characters, such as Lady Gisela and the Neverseen. We also need answers about Sophie’s mysterious past
